Breathtaking lodge in the Okavango Delta in Botswana is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to oversee daily operations and ensure an extraordinary guest experience.

 

Experience required:

Experience in the service industry especially in dealing with guests and staff

At least 3+ years relevant experience as an Exec Chef at a 5-star lodge

Passion for creating fabulous food

 

Duties include:

Maintain high standards of professionalism within the team

Provide disciplined and inspirational leadership to the kitchen team

Ensure all financial and record-keeping controls and systems are adhered to

Daily meeting with the HODs

Ensure all health and safety compliance standards

Assist with ensuring sustainability targets are met and improved upon year-on-year

Oversee the month-end stock takes

Ensure the smooth daily running of the kitchen and canteen operation

Meet and cater to all guests with special dietaries

Ensure all orders are placed correctly and on time
