Junior Software Developer

Job Description:
As a Junior Software Developer, you will work closely with our engineering team to design, develop, and maintain software applications. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
– Assist in the development, testing, and deployment of software applications.
– Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
– Collaborate with senior developers and team members to troubleshoot and optimize existing solutions.
– Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements:
– Must be a resident of Botswana or legally authorized to work in the country
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
– Basic knowledge of one or more programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, C#).
– Familiarity with web development, databases, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
– Good communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have:
– Experience with frameworks such as React, Angular, or Node.js.
– Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
– Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
