THEATRE NURSE
Salary scale: C1 (166, 344 – 197, 892) per annum plus allowances
Qualifications: Diploma in General Nursing and Post Basic Qualification in
Theatre Nursing
Registration with NMCB
Experience: At least 2 years post qualification experience
Duties & Responsibilities: Duties are but not limited to:
• Providing pre-operative nursing care for patients within the operating room
• Performing operating department work with agreed SOPS and theatre policies
• Participating in supervision of junior staff and assisting in Bacteriological investigation in theatre
• Assisting in compilation of theatre procedure manuals and nursing reports
