TEMPORARY FULL-TIME/PART-TIME DEMONSTRATOR/TEACHING ASSISTANT IN URBAN AND REGIONAL PLANNING (1 GIS POSITION)

Duties: Successful candidates will be required to assist with the teaching of GIS and related courses in the Urban and Regional Planning programmes. Other duties will include to assist students with practicals and tutorials in GIS, planning techniques and practical courses, and any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements: Applicants must have: (i) a minimum of 4-year BA or BSc Degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Urban Design, Environmental Science, Geographic Information Science (GIS) or any cognate subject; (ii) A minimum of 2(ii) CGPA Classification. (iii) An average pass of 65% in GIS, Remote Sensing, and Planning Techniques courses; (iv) Demonstratable experience with GIS, CAD techniques and any other planning support systems at inter-mediate level. A minimum of one year of university teaching experience or two years of professional practice and membership of PITP/RTPI or any other recognized professional body will be an added advantage.
