DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

VACANCY NO: IRC 1426

The University of Botswana, Department of Electrical Engineering, is seeking Demonstrators in the following areas: Electrical Engineering (1 position) and Electronic Engineering (1 position)

Duties: Successful candidates will be expected to: (i) demonstrate during laboratory sessions in the respective subjects; (ii) mark laboratory reports; (iii) perform any other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements:

Electrical Engineering: Applicants must have: (i) at least BEng/BSc in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Power systems), or equivalent, with a 2(ii) pass or better.

Electronic Engineering: Applicants must have: (i) at least BEng/BSc in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Electronic systems), or equivalent, with a 2(ii) pass or better.

For all positions: Experience in the laboratory and, teaching experience at a university or equivalent will be an added advantage.  Each applicant must specify the area for which their application should be considered.
