TEMPORARY FULL TIME COMPUTER LABORATORY DEMONSTRATOR, (9 months contract)

VACANCY NO: IRC 1565
Applicants are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Temporary Full – Time Computer Demonstrator in the Department of Primary Education, Faculty of Education.
Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to assist in: (i) managing the departmental computer laboratory; ii) providing technical assistance during the teaching of Computer Applications; iii) upgrading of computer software and hardware; iv) provide support during conducting of tutorials; v) helping staff members in the use of State of the Art computer tools in teaching/learning process; vi) performing any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements: Candidates should have at least: (i) Bachelor of Science (Computer/Business Information Technology) or related field. Technical experience at University level as well as experience of ASAS and data analysis instruments will be an added advantage.
