Teller, Maun
The incumbent will be expected safeguard custody cash received, processing withdrawal transactions, and handling telegraphic transfers.

Key Responsibilities
� Receive cash or payment in any other authorized modes from customers.
� Reconcile cash / credit receipts with sales figures and prepare daily cash summary report for submission to Back Office Team Leader.
� Respond to customer queries, offer efficient customer service and enhance the company’s image.
� Keep count of customer traffic in to the branch and compile relevant information on a daily basis.
� Deposit the cash/ cheques in the bank every day with a view to carefully protect the company and customer funds.
� Process and issue receipts for income from all sources received in the cash office checking that cash cheques and debit/credit card entries are correct

Key Requirements for this role
� Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Studies, Marketing or related field.
� Minimum 1 year as a cashier in a banking environment or similar.
� Bookkeeping experience.
� Knowledge of Payment and Collections methods.
� Experience of Bank Statements.
� Understanding of Payment and Collection methodologies.
� Credit control and management experience.
� Cash book and bank reconciliation understanding.
