Senior Operations Manager
Fixed Term Contract (6 Months)

Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for developing and implementing robust operations, marketing and customer experience plans and the coordination of IT function across various business lines with the aim of delivering client-centric services in line with company objectives.
Key Objectives
• Provision of guidance on compliance, legislation and best practices with the company to reduce compliance risk to the business.
• Development and implementation of operational plans for the execution of the business operations strategy so as to meet client expectations and requirements.
• Oversight and implementation of all IT infrastructure and data analytic platforms that impact on the operational strategy.
• Coordination of the development and implementation of a fully integrated marketing plan for the business.
• Participation in business strategy development and its implementation for operational capability and delivery of the Operations function.
• Update business on technological developments and the applicability to enable excellent operations within the business.
• Management of implementation in operational efficiencies initiatives.
• Management of operational relationships with key stakeholders in the various channels and teams across the Group.
• Implementation of client service metrics for successful implementation of client service solutions.
• Partner and collaborate with key stakeholders to effectively operationalise products and solutions.
• Management of infrastructure requirements for operations within the Botswana business in alignment with Group.
• Interfacing with Botswana business and Group forums which have operations and IT infrastructure links that impact the operational delivery of the business
• Control the budget for area, including the authorisation of expenditures and implementation of financial regulations.

• Post graduate degree in Commerce or Business Management
• COP in Life Insurance.
• 5 years’ experience at middle to senior management level in the insurance and/or financial services industry.
• Operations strategy development.
• Knowledge of the impact of legislation on the insurance industry, preferably life insurance.
