Duties: the successful candidate is expected to: i) Communicate effectively with eligible participants ii) Screen, consent, and enrol eligible participants. (iii) Optimize recruitment by using different strategies. (iv) Collect data through interviews, administering questionnaires and medical chart abstraction. (v) Assist with data entry into the REDCap database and conduct data cleaning as needed. (vi) Educate the participants about the study including cervical cancer and offer answers to the questions raised. (vii) Work closely with the data entry officer to generate weekly reports on patient enrolment (viii) Any other tasks deemed necessary by the supervisor and or study team.

Requirements: applicants should hold a (i) Basic Health Care Assistant (HCA) certificate and/or certificate in any health-related course (ii) Diploma will be an added advantage. iii) Must have knowledge of computers. iv) Must be able to complete ethics training upon hiring.

Experience: at least a minimum of 2 years working as a research assistant/HCA or recruiter in health-related research/projects/studies

Competencies: the candidate will be required to perform the duties outlined above with the use of clinical research ethics and adherence to study protocol. Must be well organized, excellent planning skills, good communication and people skills.
