QUALITY SPECIALIST
The role will be responsible for establishing, managing, and maintaining a comprehensive Quality management System and Assurance Framework for Botswana Oil Limited (BOL). The Quality Specialist will ensure that all products meet the highest quality standards, industry benchmarks, and compliance requirements. They will develop and implement quality assurance policies, standards, processes and procedures and ensure compliance. Further, the role will provide oversight and expert guidance to laboratories, monitor operational processes, and propose improvements to enhance product quality and operational efficiency while mitigating risks associated with product quality.

Position Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Quality Management, or a related field.
A certification in Quality Assurance or Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 17025 Lead implementer) will be an added advantage.
Professional/Technical: Professional membership would be an added advantage.
Experience: A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in the petroleum, manufacturing, or related industries.
Strong experience in Quality management systems, laboratory operations, and chemical testing.
Proven track record in process improvement, risk mitigation, and managing quality-related projects.
