Purpose of the Role

  • To perform Project Administration  in a complex and multi-project  environment.
  •  To integrate Project Administration into project controls in complex projects,  i.e., integrate project administration with estimating,  project cost analysis, planning, and document control.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and monitors the implementation of safety, health and environmental programs in area
  • Establishes and maintains effective relationships with all key stakeholders and partners to ensure achievement of business objectives
  • Manages the key effectiveness areas of subordinates by setting, monitoring and reviewing performance and taking remedial action as necessary
  • Initiates and implements creative and innovative ideas to continuously improve and sustain business performance
  • Implements knowledge management principles through application of tools and methodologies to continuously improve and sustain business performance
  • Manages and controls allocated funds and operates within set parameters
  • Monitors the effectiveness of Planning standards and procedures, and advises the Senior Specialist – Planning about necessary changes to ensure continuous improvement
  • The integration of Project Administration with document control, e.g., document repository, archiving, configuration management, etc
  • Project Administration, including project workshop and meeting arrangements, taking and distributing of minutes of meetings, etc.;
  • Planning, setting-up, and managing of Project Administration as part of the project controls system
  • Project Administration-related interfacing regarding project change requests
  • Administration of project governance

Other Job Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all safety, health and environmental and corporate governance principles, policies and procedures in area of responsibility

Education

  • Diploma in Project Management Qualification

Experience

>3 Years as a Project Administrator.
