Maintenance Planner



Position Purpose


Responsible preparation of maintenance scheduling for all Maintenance disciplines for the Business Centre plant and equipment in order to improve efficiency of maintenance programs, maximize availability of plant and equipment for continuity of water and waste water services in the most cost effective manner, in accordance with environmental standards and safe working practices

Position Key Responsibilities


Develop and coordinate maintenance work flow processes and monitor manpower utilization and task execution effectiveness

Develops, updates, and manages detailed databases and reports on maintenance plans, progress and quality review.

Develop weekly schedules for preventative maintenance activities (Maintenance Plans for RCM, statutory inspections, condition monitoring, other routines) to ensure reliability and availability of operational assets

Ensure equipment and assets are captured and input in CMMS including creation of asset control numbers, location, specifications, description, transfers, and change of status.

Draw maintenance plans for preventive maintenance in accordance with manufacturers’ recommendations.

Liaise with records Business Centre Record Administrator for management of Maintenance manual and Manufacture literature.

Confirm availability of manpower, materials for planned maintenance works

Is responsible for providing technical support to various departments by maintaining accurate database records for the computerized maintenance management system

Provide information through the generation of weekly and monthly reports indicating performance areas such as labour utilization, Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), compliance to schedule and backlog

Updates SAP PM Module through correct and timeous completion of the feedback process (job ticket completion)

Minimize work flow process delays by coordinating with the Supply Chain Management to ensure timely availability of spares and materials for all planned and scheduled jobs

Complies with functional/practice policies

Qualification and Experience



  • Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Control and instrumentation or any engineering related field
  • Registered with Engineering Registration Board (ERB)
  • Valid Practising Certificate


  • Direct Entry.
  • valid drivers licence (class B)

Salary: An attractive Salary Package commensurate to the market
