Botswana Unified Revenue Service (BURS) is a semi-autonomous organization of Government, responsible for assessing and collecting tax revenue as well as border administration. BURS invites dynamic, self- motivated and qualified citizens of Botswana to apply for the following positions:

 – PROCUREMENT OVERSIGHT SPECIALIST – COMPLIANCE & MONITORING X 1 (GABORONE)

Main Purpose of the Job
To provide compliance monitoring advice relating to adherence and application of statutory provisions. To develop strategies and procedures to effectively monitor and evaluate the performance of BURS Procuring Entities on Public Procurement and ensure compliance to Public Procurement Act and Regulations.

Key Performance Areas

Compliance with PP Act, Regulations and all the relevant statutes.

Position Requirements
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management, CIPS level 6; or Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Statistics and Research or related with CIPS level 4. A full member of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply or any other internationally recognized supply chain institute will be a requirement.
Experience: At least four (4) years relevant post qualification experience in supply chain management environment, two (2) of which should have been at Senior Officer Level or equivalent

Salary: BURS 05 (P352, 404 – P469, 608 per annum)
