Description

The incumbent will be responsible for providing procurement support to other business units within the Organisation. Through the management and supervision of the Procurement Supervisor, maintains service for the procurement of goods and services and for the maintenance of the Bank’s inventory and stock management. The role holder will also procure goods and services for other units, in accordance with established procurement and tender procedures.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Compliance with the Bank’s procurement framework, policies, process and procedures
  • Ensures that all invoices are properly authorised and submitted for payment timeously
  • Oversee procurement processes, including purchase orders, supplier evaluations, and inventory management
  • Oversees the supplier relationship management activities to ensure that service delivery to the Bank is as per the SLAs
  • Supports Procurement Supervisor in managing Tenders
  • Ensures that supplier onboarding is done accordingly, and all suppliers are KYV (Know Your Vendor) compliant
  • Ensures that all procurement supports business objectives and is cost effective

Minimum Qualification

  • A degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a procurement qualification attained from CIPS (Level 5/6).
  • Two to three years or more of exposure to an office administration, facilities and property maintenance and management environment.
  • A procurement qualification attained from CIPS (Level 5/6) would be an added advantage
  • Membership in a recognised Procurement body is an added advantage
