Summary
To provide personalized secretarial and administrative support in a well-organized and timely manner as well as act as the point of contact between the Chief Executive Officer and internal/external clients and customers
Description
The incumbent will be responsible for among others:
- Supervise the work of the Receptionist and Driver/messenger employees and manage their performance in line with the BVI PMs.
- Providing a bridge for smooth communication between the CEO’s office and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff.
- Establishing and maintaining administrative systems and procedures in the CEO’s office and monitors compliance for effective management control.
- Acting as the point of contact among executives, employees, clients and other external partners.
- Assisting the CEO in stakeholder relationship management by acting as a protocol officer of the CEO’s office.
- Supervising the work of the Receptionist and Driver/messenger employees and manage their performance in line with the BVI PMS.
- Ensure the training, development, performance and reward of employees.
Minimum Requirements
The right candidate will possess the following minimum requirements:
- Higher National Diploma in Secretarial Services or Business Administration.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Records Management Certificate will be an added advantage.
- Five (5) years’ experience working in similar environment.
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency in computer applications (e.g. Word, Excel, internet and electronic email)
