Applications are invited for the position of Demonstrators in the Department of Industrial Design and Technology, Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
Duties: The Department offers courses in the above area to the students of Bachelor of Design & Technology Education and Bachelor of Industrial Design programmes. Demonstrators are required to instruct and demonstrate the practical aspects of these courses. Design Materials and Processes includes: working with the following materials: metal, wood, polymers, other manufacturing materials and technologies for processing the materials.
Requirements: Applicants must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in Design & Technology, Industrial Design, Product Design and/or any related field. Work experience, proficiency in Manufacturing and prototyping processes with resistant materials and university level demonstration experience will be an added advantage.
