MP Mining is a Mining Contractor for Leboam Holdings (PTY) Ltd which owns Kopano Copper Mine, located in the North-Eastern part of Botswana off Mosetse and Dukwi Villages. The Company is currently looking for results driven, agile and suitably qualified individuals to fill the below position:
- Mineral Resource Evaluation Manager
To manage the Mineral Resource Modelling and Geological Modelling. Update of the Dynamic Resource Model with new geoscience data. Update of the Dynamic Resource Model with new geoscience data. Perform Geoscience quality assurance and risk management. Training of on site geoscientist for skills transfer. Undertake a mine call factor project (Ultimate measure of mining efficiency) Analysis of existing resource models to plan for infill drilling. Proficient use of Datamine software modelling software
Minimum Requirements:
•BSc Geology or equivalent with at least fifteen (15) years experience in mining industry with preference to open pit operations.
•Profound mastery in solving reconciliations and evaluation challenges
•Mastery in analyzing highly variable ore-body in terms of style in mineralization
•Profound knowledge of interpreting grades of various ores that make up the blend fed to the mill.
•Mastery knowledge in analyzing existing resource models to plan for infill drilling.
