MDP RESEARCH ASSISTANT (2 Positions)

Applicants are invited from suitable Batswana for the position of Research Assistants in the School of Graduate Studies, Master’s in Development Practice (MDP) for a period of two (2) years. MDP is a modular cross-disciplinary programme at the University of Botswana.
Duties: The successful candidates will be expected to (i) assist the MDP Coordinator in the day-to-day administration and management of the MDP programme; (ii) perform administrative duties of the MDP programme such as filing and archiving academic records and training materials, arranging teaching schedule and organising field or research trips; (iii) be the first point of contact for programme-related queries and support the delivery of teaching and learning experience for all students; (iv) carry out any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the MDP Programme Coordinator. Successful candidates will work under the supervision of the MDP Programme Coordinator.
Requirements: Applicants should have: (i) a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or Environmental Science or related fields; (ii) previous experience in academic research, programme administration and management; and (iii) Masters’ degree in Social Sciences or Environmental Science or related fields shall be an added advantage.
