This position is responsible for the daily management of the Materials Management function at Motheo Mine.

This position is responsible for the daily management of the Materials Management function, safely and effectively through planning, management, control, provisioning and accountable for materials and service availability at Motheo Mine. This will be timely, cost effective (TCO) though purchasing, inventory, operations (warehouse and logistics) systems, materials quality, content management and standards within the dictates and innovative best industry practices, health, environmental and corporate governance principles (company purpose, strategy, values, policies, procedures, and processes).

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management/ Materials Management/ Procurement or relevant commercial discipline.
  • CIPS Membership, APICS or any equivalent globally accredited Materials Management
  • SCM membership is highly regarded.
  • 8+ years’ experience in purchasing, materials management, or supply chain management-based roles
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a junior management position.
  • Extensive useful trackable direct experience would be beneficial for this role.
