Overview

Tsetseng Retail Group is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join its team. The role involves supporting the Senior Contracts Specialist in the financial and commercial aspects of contracts, with a focus on cost control, claims evaluation, and maintaining accurate records. This is a site-based position critical for ensuring effective contract administration.

Key Responsibilities

-Assist the Senior Contracts Specialist with commercial aspects of contracts.

-Evaluate claims and manage change orders effectively.

-Prepare payment certificates.

-Propose and implement cost-saving initiatives.

-Maintain accurate and organized records and files.

-Measure and quantify construction drawings accurately.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in CCS Candy, Microsoft Office, and MS Project is advantageous.
    • Familiarity with commercial and contract administration principles.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience in Quantity Surveying.
