Your Responsibilities Will Include:
· To drive excellent customer service through focusing on excellent results
· To manage, inspire and lead your team
· To recruit, train and develop your people
· Contribute to the formulation of the company operational strategic objectives, and ensure successful execution thereof
· Exercise exceptional entrepreneurial and commercial thinking to effectively drive sales and overall store performance for the area
· Demonstrate mature leadership skills including the ability to attract, hire, retain and engage the team
· Develop a high performance team and culture, focusing on ownership, accountability and performance
· Drive performance in line with company values
· Drive the successful implementation of the customer journey philosophy
· Deliver targeted turnover- and profit growth
· Develop and manage annual operational budget and projections
· Consistent delivery of all agreed KPI’s including sales and profit growth, ROAM, new accounts, rewards, expenses-to-turnover ratio and shrinkage
· To develop and control budgets for the area
· To Initiate and monitor actions to increase profitability
· To ensure merchandise opportunities are maximised and managed through liaison with relevant departments
· To manage and maintain merchandise standards
· To ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
· To participate actively in development of new, revamped or relocated stores

Requirements:
· Proven management experience at a senior level
· Minimum of 3 – 5 years field management experience (essential)
· A relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous but not essential
· A valid driver’s license
· Unquestionable ethics and values
· Inspiring leadership
· The ability to operate independently
· Proven ability to display initiative
· Proven track record and ability to drive and successfully execute robust retail operations strategies
· Ability to work comfortably at both a strategic and operational level
· Strong planning and organizing skills, delegation and follow-through
· Proven ability to develop relationships with various internal- and external business partners
· Proven ability to drive change, persuade and influence both internal and external stakeholders
· Demonstrate a high level of maturity, emotional intelligence and insight into diverse teams and individuals
· Strong written and verbal communication at all levels of organization
· Analytical skills
· Strong understanding of ER knowledge
· Ability to travel
· Grade 12 certificate
