Account Executive: Reinsurance broking

A new and innovative insurance broker in Gaborone is looking for team members

Responsibilities:

Reinsurance Placement: Secure and manage reinsurance treaties and facultative placements, optimizing coverage and pricing.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with reinsurers, ensuring favorable contract terms.
Claims Recovery: Coordinate the recovery process for reinsurance claims, ensuring timely and accurate settlements.
Portfolio Management: Administer and assess the performance of reinsurance portfolios, including financial risk modeling.
Regulatory Compliance: Maintain adherence to industry regulations and ensure proper documentation and reporting.

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Finance, Business, or related field.
– COP in Short-Term or Long-Term Insurance (required).
– Minimum of 2 years of experience in reinsurance, with expertise in placement and claims recovery.
– IISA membership (advantageous)/ progress towards AIISA.
