1. Site Manager x1

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Manager to oversee LTP Plant services project. The Site Manager will be responsible for ensuring that project is completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills and a proven track record within the ore processing field.

Job Description

  •   Plan, organize and manage project from start to finish, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety regulations.
  •   Oversee and coordinate all on-site activities, including resource allocation to ensure effective execution.
  •   Monitor project budgets and financial performance, identifying and addressing any deviations or potential risks.
  •   Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards and project specifications.
  •   Maintain accurate project documentation, including records of site activities, progress reports and other supporting documentation.
  •   Collaborate closely with client and other stakeholders to address project requirements, provide regular updates and ensure client satisfaction.
  •   Foster a positive work environment, providing leadership, guidance and support to the team and encouraging productivity.
  •   Manage and resolve any issues or conflicts during the duration of the project, implementing appropriate solutions and escalating when necessary.
  •   Stay updated on industry trends, technologies and best practices, identifying opportunities for process improvements.

Education and Experience

  •   Minimum of O-level
  •   Minimum 3 years of post-experience in Plant Upkeep management or a related field.
  •   Strong knowledge of safety regulations.

2. Supervisor x2

Description

We are looking for a skilled supervisor to help us create an awesome Client experience and keep things in good order. On a daily basis, you’ll supervise employees and make sure that they complete their tasks and are motivated to work effectively. Supervisor skills include contributing to the production strategy by knowing the business goals and how to achieve them. You’ll also act as a reference point for employees and Clients, ready to fix problems that occasionally arise. Ultimately, you’ll help maintain our business reputation by ensuring daily duties are completed and goals are met.

Responsibilities

  •   Manage daily schedules and time-off requests
  •   Assign duties to employees and oversee their progress
  •   Ensure that daily production goals are met
  •   Train and integrate new workers
  •   Provide guidance and feedback to employees when needed
  •   Ensure compliance to all working procedures and standards ISO 45001:2018/ 14001:2015
  •   Handle Client and employee complaints
  •   Resolve conflicts between employees
  •   Daily Inspection of site to make safe before employees can resume work
  •   Completion of all inspections and ensuring compliance to all legislative requirements

3. SHE Officer x1

Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Safety Officer to join our team. The Safety Officer will be responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, contractors, and visitors. This individual will play a crucial role in developing and implementing safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

  •   Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  •   Conduct regular risk assessments and inspections of the workplace to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  •   Organize and facilitate safety training sessions for employees on topics such as hazard recognition, emergency response procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage.
  •   Investigate accidents, injuries, and near misses to determine root causes and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
  •   Perform safety audits and inspections of the workplace, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  •   Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures, including evacuation routes, emergency contacts, and first aid procedures.
  •   Communicate with employees, management, and stakeholders about safety initiatives, concerns, and best practices.
  •   Prepare and submit regulatory reports and documentation related to safety performance, incidents, and compliance requirements.

    Education and Experience

  •   Diploma in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field.
  •   Minimum 2 years of experience in occupational health and safety in a mining environment
  •   Thorough knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, standards, and best

    practices.

  •   Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  •   Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and safety management software.

 

4. Multi skill Operator x3

Silver- Marvel Investments (PTY) Ltd. is recruiting multi-skill operator who is trained with the required skills to operate and man two or more equipment in a mine. Required to do multiple job tasks and could be deployed to multiple sections in response to operational demands. As a multi-skill operator you may assigned to any machine of competence.

Responsibilities:

  •   Operate two or more machines (Grader, TLB, Excavator, front end Loader, ADT Dump truck, Bob Cat, Forklift etc.) as and when required.
  •   Conduct Pre-start checklists to ensure the machine is safe to use
  •   Follow all health and safety regulations in the discharge of their duties
  •   Partake in the development and implementation of safe and healthy workplace.

 Duty of care to ensure job tasks are carried out in safe and efficient manner

Education and Experience

Competencies

  •   Basic Education certificate or any equivalent qualification (minimum JC)
  •   Valid Driving/operating License
  •   An understanding of ISO 45001:2015 and ISO 14001:2018 standards
  •   Proven ability to work independently as well as within a team
  •   Proven experience in the use of two or more equipment.
  •   Minimum experience of at least 2 years in plant operation within the industry
  •   Ability to work well under intense pressure
  •   Positive communication skills

 

5. Plant Attendants

We are currently seeking a dedicated and versatile General Assistant to join our team. The General Assistant will provide support across various departments and functions within the company, contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of our business. This position is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn, adaptable, and willing to take on a variety of tasks and responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  •   Assist with day-to-day tasks and operations across the plant as needed.
  •   Help maintain cleanliness and organization in the Plant

 Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

Education and Experience

  •   Basic Education certificate or any equivalent qualification (minimum JC)
  •   An understanding of ISO 45001:2015 and ISO 14001:2018 standards
  •   Proven ability to work independently as well as within a team
  •   Proven experience in the use of two or more equipment.
  •   Minimum experience of at least 2 years in a mining environment
