HR Operations Specialist

Reporting to the Talent Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a highly effective and efficient hiring and onboarding process and to manage employee growth and performance.

Main duties:

  • Liaise with Directors & middle managers to develop and market compelling role profiles.
  • Screen CV’s, introduce assessment tools for candidates and manage interview processes to fill in vacant roles timely.
  • Oversight of the Onboarding program to support successful integration into the company and a swift ramp up in terms of productivity.
  • Support in developing growth & succession plans for key people in the business.
  • Support in designing and delivering initiatives to retain talent and build a highperformance culture.
  • Manage and oversee the performance appraisal process, including setting timelines, coordinating review schedules, and ensuring that all required documentation is completed.
  • Maintain and track performance metrics and data, ensuring they are accurately recorded in the HRIS or other performance management systems.
  • Work with managers and employees to identify training needs and gaps in skills or knowledge.
  • Manage e-learning platforms and ensure that online training resources are up-todate and accessible.
  • Support career development initiatives by identifying and facilitating opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • Ensure that there are no exposures to the business by managing HR processes to ensure that there are no legal risks posed to the company through managing employee relations within the business i.e. Grievances, disciplinary concerns and disputes
  • Ensure HR policies and practices reflect changes in law and are communicated through the organization

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Industrial/Organisational Psychology or related field.
  • A Masters Degree would be an added advantage.
  • 7+ experience with a proven track record of excellent of HR project management skills, change management and effective execution of HR services.
  • Excellent communication up, down and across the organization.
  • Proven thought leadership and strategic thinking, ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
