Job Overview:

Selebi Phikwe Citrus is seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our team for the upcoming harvest season. These seasonal/temporary positions offer an opportunity to be part of a dynamic agricultural team, ensuring high-quality fruit harvesting while maintaining efficiency in the harvesting process.

Responsibilities:

-Harvest and pick various types of citrus fruits from trees or plants.

-Ensure that fruits are picked carefully to prevent damage and maintain product quality.

-Transport harvested fruit to designated areas for processing or packaging.

-Follow all health and safety guidelines.

-Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

-Report any injuries, damages, or safety concerns to the supervisor.

-Perform other duties related to the harvest as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements and Skills:

-Must be above the age of 18.

-Ability to work long hours during peak harvesting periods, including weekends.

-Strong physical fitness to handle manual labor.

-No previous experience required; however, experience in agricultural work or fruit picking is an advantage.

-Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing, bending, and lifting.

-Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.

-Good communication skills.

-Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality harvest.

-A positive attitude and team-oriented work ethic.
