Job Detail:

The role oversees the provision and management of efficient and reliable Fleet and Transport services across WUC. To coordinate and ensure the effective management of fleet resources in order to manage costs across the Corporation as well as to drive the improvement of vehicle lifespan by coordinating the execution of maintenance in line with planned schedule of manufacturers specifications and standards and Sets WUC quality standards for purchase of spares for repairs from the approved list of service providers.

Qualification and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Transport Management, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering/Transport Economics
  • Five (05) years’ experience in developing, controlling and administering maintenance financial functions, contract administration or managing the operations of a large fleet maintenance facility.
  • Three (03) years’ experience supervising personnel.  • Valid driver’s licence

Renumeration

Salary    :  An attractive Salary Package

Commensurate to the market

Leave    :  25 working days per annum

Pension         :  A Contributory Pension

Scheme (16.5% WUC and 4% Employee)
