Job Detail:
Position Purpose
The role manages the financial resources, general accounting, accounts receivable, cash & banking, payroll and accounts payable functions and ensures the overall accuracy of WUC’s financial records. The role is responsible for the timely completion of financial statements and management reports that accurately reflect WUC’s financial position and the results of its operations in accordance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.
The Financial Accountant acts as the primary respondent on any technical accounting issues that may arise within the organisation. The role serves as the primary point of contact for the external auditors and departments on accounting and financial matters.

- Timeous delivery of accurate Financial Reports
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or AAT
- Professional Qualification: CIMA, ACCA, BICA, CPA or CFA
- Member of BICA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA
- Seven (7) years’ technical finance experience, with progressively increasing responsibility
- Three (3) years of technical experience in a large organisation
- Five (5) years supervisory / management experience
- Valid Driver’s Licence
