Position Title: Finance Manager
Reports to: Chief Finance Officer
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, preferably within the banking & insurance industry, and a proven track record of driving financial performance and strategic initiatives. As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting the company and its subsidiaries’ long-term financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning and Analysis
- Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Oversees Accounts payables and Credit control
Reporting and Compliance
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and presentations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Liaise with auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders as needed.
Risk Management
- Identify and assess financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and manage investment portfolios to optimize returns and minimize risks in line with Company’s investment strategy
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Operational Efficiency
- Streamline financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency.
- Implement best practices in financial management and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; ACCA/CIMA CA preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial management.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and risk management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
