Golden North Proprietary Limited seeks an:
EXTRA-HEAVY DUTY DRIVER
Job Purpose:
To drive and operate Heavy duty vehicles, Crane Trucks in accordance with safety standards and statutory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Transport materials and other equipment/machinery cross border and locally using various Super links, Triaxles and Lowbeds
- Carries out routine inspections on Trucks, Trailers and Crane equipment and ensures it is serviced as per Service schedules. Adherence to equipment operation procedure, standards and specifications
- Updates all required documentation such as vehicle inspection checklists,load sheets etc
- Monitors vehicle mileage and ensures that it is serviced accordingly. Adherence to relevant statutory requirements (permits, speed limits etc). Always keeps the vehicles and crane trucks clean as per our Company Standards.
- Actively participate in the safety and environment trainings driven by the company.
- Required to do bush trips using 4×4 or 6×6 trucks into the Delta
Requirements:
- EC Extra Heavy-Duty Drivers Licence
- PrDP Goods and Certification in Crane Truck Operation
- 5-8 year’s work experience
