Botswana Tourism Organisation (BTO) is a parastatal body set up through an Act of Parliament with the mandate to market Botswana’s tourism product, promote investment in the tourism sector as well as to grade and classify licensed tourist enterprises.

BTO invites applications from driven qualified and experienced Botswana citizens for the positions of:
EXECUTIVE MANAGER- HUMAN RESOURCE & ADMINISTRATION

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Executive Manager- Human Resources and Administration will be tasked with and have the vision to drive the following deliverables:
• Creating and maintaining a high-performance organisational culture
• Maintaining corporate governance best practice
• Developing a conducive work environment
• Administration of cost effective and efficient facilities management

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Creating a high-performance Organisational Culture:
• Talent Management

Maintaining Corporate Governance best practice:
• Develop and implement HR and Administration Polices
• Develop and implement HR Strategy and objectives
• Alignment of organisational policies, procedures and processes with relevant National statutes.Acts and Legislations

Leadership & General Management
• Contribute to the review and implement of the Organisational
Strategy as a member of the Executive Management team
• Manage HR and Admin Department resources including its human capital
Developing a Conducive Work Environment:
• Improve staff engagement for the Organisation
• Develop. Implement, and manage SHE initiatives
• Undertake Employee Climate surveys and recommends and implements best practice resolutions
• Manage Employee Relations Administration of cost effective and efficient Facilities
Management:
• Organization fleet management
• Acquisition and optimization of Office space
• Telephone and communication Systems
• Records and information management
• Management of SLA’s. Leases and Contracts

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related field (Business Admmistration/lndustria) Rehtionsi’Psychology).
• 10 years’ work experience in Human Resources Management field. 5 of which should have been spent at Senior Management level
• Knowledge of Botswana Labour/Employment Laws is essentia)
