The position will be responsible for providing assistance with general maintenance of electrical.

General work assisting the Artisan Electrician including site preparation and clearance, maintaining general site tidiness, and assisting as directed by the Electrician. Assisting with installations, inspections, diagnosing faults, testing, repair, and maintenance of electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures.

Key Performance Areas

  • Provide support and assistance to Artisan Electricians.
  • General work assisting the Electrician including site preparation and clearance and maintaining general site tidiness and assisting as directed by the electrician.
  • Assisting with installations, inspections, diagnosing faults, testing, repair, and maintenance of electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures.
  • Assist with storage, lifting, fetching supplies, unload and check deliveries and undertaking tasks to assisting electrician generally.
  • Carry out duties as directed by the supervisor or line manager to the best of ability, having consideration for the needs of colleagues and the Organisation and its clients/customers.
  • Obey all lawful and reasonable orders given and comply with the Organisation’s rules, procedures, and policies.

Qualification & Experience

  • Trade Test C& B in Electrical Engineering
  • Valid Light Duty Vehicles Driver’s License
  • Minimum 2 years working experience.
