Driver Trainer – Gaborone
Job Summary: a qualified and experienced Driver Trainer with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the fuel transportation industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs for our drivers, ensuring they operate vehicles safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement training programs for new and existing drivers.
- Conduct classroom instruction and hands-on training sessions for heavy-duty vehicles and Bulk Vehicle Operators (BVOs).
- Evaluate driver performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate training records and certifications.
- Provide ongoing support and retraining as needed to maintain high safety and performance standards.
- Collaborate with the operations team to identify training needs and develop customized training solutions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a driver training role within the fuel transportation industry.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
