The National Arts Council of Botswana (NACB) is a body corporate established under the National Arts Council of Botswana Act, No. 10 of 2020.The Council’s mandate is to develop, promote and protect the creative and cultural sector of Botswana through policy, legislation, industry facilitation and various partnerships, programmes, grants, and initiatives. The Council aims to transform the local creative and cultural sector by nurturing excellence and preserving the Nations rich cultural traditions with the goal of building an inclusive, sustainable, and prosperous sector.

DRIVER/MESSENGER

Reporting to Administration Executive

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To drive the Councils’ vehicles transporting goods, property, or staff and to provide messenger services to the Council.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Minimal accident rate.
  • Timeous and safe delivery/collection of visitors and employees.
  • Prompt delivery/ collection of mail.
  • Ensure that vehicles are kept tidy and well maintained.
  • Maintenance and update of log and maintenance book.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Cambridge, O’ Level Certificate or BGCSE certificate, valid driver’s license and PrDP.
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience working as a Driver.
  • Must submit at least three (3) written traceable references.
