PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Ensuring the correct stacking of products as per laid down standards.

KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oil, water, petrol, tyre pressure to be according to form issued as per company procedures.
  • All damages to be reported timeously.
  • All malfunctions to be reported timeously and communicated sufficiently.
  • Vehicle to be always clean.
  • Ensure regular prescribed maintenance is carried out as specified.
  • Ensure safety always adhered to.
  • Ensure operating vehicle according to set standards.
  • Ensure correct methods of loading.
  • Ensure correct quantities loaded.
  • Packing away of finished goods every day in store.
  • Loading and off-loading of goods from trucks.
  • Ensure that no damage is caused to products or pallet and proactively identify broken pallets which might damage bags.
  • Take steps to proactively ensure stock rotation.
  • Complying to company policies and procedures defined in company policies and procedure.
  • Must be available to work overtime.
  • Correct stacking of products.
  • Do any ad hoc tasks instructed by Supervisor/Manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Grade 12 (NQF4) OR Grade 10 (NQF2) with 3 – 5 years’ experience.
  • Must have a valid Forklift driver’s license.
  • Willing to work shifts.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Namibian Citizenship.
