JOB SUMMARY
The Direct Sales Agents will play a critical role in driving the growth of the business by directly engaging with potential clients to sell a variety of Insurance products. This requires a highly motivated individual with a passion for sales and customer service, offering tailored insurance solutions by identifying the clients’ needs and achieving and exceeding sales targets.

The position directly reports to Business Development Manager – Insurance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identifying potential customers’ through various channels (cold calling, referrals and networking)
• Contribute in the development of the business products and organisational strategies
• Effectively presenting Insurance products and their benefits to potential customers
• Negotiate and close deals ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
• Identify and build relationships with key strategic partners
• Stay updated on Insurance products, industry trends and Company policies.
• Identify key requisites for solution to be profitable
• Provide guidance and specialist input to business development and product development on new thinking, industry trends future idea viability
• Tracking sales performance, generating reports and analysing sales data.
• Ensure adherence to Insurance regulations and Company compliance standards
• Develop and manage relationships with key strategic stakeholders across the business
• Deliver approved policies to new clients and explain benefits and risks of the policy
• Fill-out and submit applications, issues quote, maintain client records and prepare reports
• Update and maintain client KYC compliance

QUALIFICATIONS
• Diploma in Sales Or Marketing
• Certificate of Proficiency in Long and short term Insurance

EXPERIENCE
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience with strong background in sales and negotiation centred around Insurance products.

• In depth understanding of competitor environment

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Remuneration for Direct Sales Agents is Commission based only.
