Digital Marketing Officer – Gaborone (3 years Contract)

Reporting to the Public Relations and Marketing Communications Manager, the officer will be responsible for the creation and management of digital media platforms and campaigns to promote the BoFiNet’s brand, products and services. The role supports the sales, marketing and communications functions of the organisation.

 

Key Responsibilities                                                                                                

 

  •  Website management for BoFiNet and associated sub brands, including managing the CMS, SEO and ensuring website security.
  • .
  • Social media management, including developing social media content calendars in line with approved campaigns and content management Planning and coordinating all online advertising activities including scheduling campaigns, monitoring and reporting performance; and making recommendations to optimize performance.
  • Planning and coordinating email and content marketing campaigns, including monitoring and reporting on performance against set KPIs.
  • Managing the digital media advertising budget.
  • Ensuring that all digital marketing channels are coherent and consistent with BoFiNet brand guidelines in terms of the look and feel as well as tone of voice.
  • Ensuring that all initiatives undertaken serve to promote a positive image about and protect the reputation of BoFiNet, its leadership, products and services.

CAREER DETAILS

  • Academic Qualification and ExperienceThe candidate should have attained the following:

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies, Communications, Marketing or related field
    • Minimum of three (3) years post qualification experience
    •  Additional training in Digital Marketing or related is an added advantage.
