Digital Channels Officer – ATM/POS/CARDS (Botswana)
The incumbent is responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of the Automated Teller Machines, Digital banking suite, cards and POS in conjunction with the all the Bank’s branches through regular maintenance. The incumbent is also responsible for improving the technological advancement of BBS Banks’ investments in channel related hardware and also to assist overseeing the IT infrastructure team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitors the running of electronic banking channel applications
- Supervises the provision of first level technical support to resolve digital, card, ATM and POS system issues
- Performs configurations, installations and testing of digital, cards, ATMs and POS to ensure high quality ATM and POS services
- Leads all digital, card, ATM and POS projects and works closely with vendors on production and user acceptance test (UAT) issues
- Performs system integration testing’s (SITs) and UATs to ensure quality and timely delivery of projects
- Coordinates preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and checks on POS, digital platforms and ATMs

Minimum Requirements:
• Degree in Information Systems or professional diploma in networking and hardware maintenance
• 3-5 years performing technical maintenance, support of automatic teller machines, digital banking technologies and Cards/POS
• Commercial banking experience is required
