Title: Corporate Affairs Manager-Digital Communications

Purpose of the Role
The Corporate Affairs Manager Digital Communication will be responsible for the development and execution of the company’s digital communication strategies to effectively engage, convey the company’s messages, brand and initiatives to internal and external stakeholders. The role includes overseeing the company’s digital presence as well as content creation, measurement and analysis across multiple and integrated channels. Critical to this role is the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and predictive analysis to make data-driven improvements on Corporate Affairs processes, stakeholders analysis, trends and issues management.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Manages and controls allocated funds and operates within approved parameters .Recommends and incorporates cost saving initiatives into budgets
- Develops and implements a robust and cost-effective digital communication and channel strategy for Debswana to best engage and showcase the company, its strategy, business updates, brand and impact to the full array of its employees and stakeholders
- Oversees the company’s digital presence, including website management, social media management, other online platforms, while also ensuring effective reach of offline employees
- Identifies new trends and opportunities, adopt into continuous improvement approach, and advise departments, Senior Leadership Team and Functional communications teams across the sites on best practice
- Applies Artificial Intelligence (AI) and predictive analysis to improve Corporate Affairs processes, stakeholder analysis, communication, trends and issues management
- Markets and manages the deployment and uptake of internal online tools, inclusive of copy and design i.e. CLA, WhatsApp, SMS and chatbot
- Delivers annual focused strategic online initiatives such as ted talks and podcasts
- Ensures digital channel effectiveness
- Ensures digital platforms data analytics
- Builds and implements a robust approach to channel measurement, with findings to be regularly shared with key internal stakeholders to inform continuous improvement
Other Job Responsibilities
- Acquire knowledge on the implementation of safety, health and environmental programmes
Education
- Degree or professional qualification in Digital Communication, Computer Science, Data Analytics or related
Experience
8 years work experience 3 of which should be in Digital Communication and Content Creation,
Legal Certification/Professional Registration
- Membership of communication, reputation management, information management, digital communication or related association
