Position Purpose

This role is responsible for serving as a liaison to external stakeholder officials,their staff, and their constituents

This position is also responsible for managing community relations activities, facilitating community program development, and engaging in projects related to water resource development, community or public relations, utility projects, intergovernmental relations and/or other related areas.

This includes execution and oversight of outreach plans and fieldwork.

as an Events Coordinator, the role is responsible for the development, implementation, and coordination of WUC’s internal and external events.

This individual also assists in creating communication materials that promote WUC’s image and interests.

It provides administrative support for the Stakeholder Management and Communications function, ensuring adherence to an annual Communications calendar and the tracking of actions on decisions taken.

Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related

3 years experience in Public, Government, Community Relations Communications with emphasis in water resources development, Community or Public Relations, Utility construction projects, or governmental relations

Salary: An attractive Salary Package commensurate to the market

Leave: 25 working days per annum

Pension: A Contributory Pension Scheme (16.5% WUC and 4% Employee)
