This position is responsible for provision of cost-effective contract administration and procurement for the mine.

This position is responsible for provision of cost-effective contract administration and procurement for the mine including but not limited to tender compilations (ITTs, EOI, RFIs etc.), sourcing contractors, tender adjudication metrics, evaluations reports, commercial negotiations, and recommendations for awards. The incumbent will draft contracts, service level agreements, variations (VOs and Sis), monitor and formally report on performance and compliance of contracts from award to closure, with good track of claims and verification of billing/invoices from contractors/suppliers.

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in either Quantity Surveying (QS), Supply Chain Management, Contracts Management, Commerce, or CIPS Level 6.
  • At least 5 years’ experience; 3 years of which should be in procurement contracts administration in a mining environment or an equivalent industry.
