Consumer Marketing Manager

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic and marketing value propositions to better address consumer segments. The incumbent will also analyse all source data to identify the customer base movements per segment and product line to determine the best tactical actions to optimize value, acquire new customers and decrease churn.

The main duties include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement strategic and marketing value propositions to better address consumer segments.
  • Analyse all source data to identify the customer base movements per segment and product line to determine the best tactical actions to optimize value, acquire new customers and decrease churn.
  • Focus on three main aspects of: Products management (including devices), Customer Value Management and Go to Market.
  • Ensure the good lifecycle management of B2C offers specifically on the pre-launch analysis, pricing model, launch and life management phases
  • Provide analysis and benchmark of competitors’ activities and market analysis and analyse the market for potential of new offers or services
  • Ensure the delivery of validated marketing specifications to support B2C offers to be launched.
  • Coordinate the analytics across the Consumer function and ensure that product and segment strategies all support the envisaged Consumer objectives.
  • Coordinate marketing contributions to yearly marketing plan and strategic plan, as well as all budget exercises

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/ Business or related field
  • A Master’s Degree would be an added advantage
  • Minimum 7- 10 years of experience in Marketing, Statistics, Business or Finance.
