The main duties include but are not limited to;
- Manage the development of the compensation strategy and directing the design, implementation and communication of all employee and management and executive compensation plans/policies for all compensation programs.
- Developing and executing comprehensive communication strategy for compensation and benefit programs by identifying opportunities to better enable the company to improve employee engagement, facilitate proactive and effective messaging and cadence.
- Lead the execution of monthly payroll and ensure all deductions and relevant payments are reflected correctly and payments are done as per the agreed schedule.
- Produce high level reports that are total rewards related.
- Lead in providing the business with reports that pertain to leave, overtime or any other trends that the business needs to be aware of.
- Maintain competitive incentivisation through market survey initiatives, staying in touch with markets trends and best practice.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of existing compensation and benefit programs, policies and guidelines and ensuring they are market competitive, cost effective and aligned with corporate goals.
- Working in partnership with external service providers and consultants in both compensation and benefit industries to ensure the company is positioned competitively and stays current on trends/changes in similar/relative industries.
- Ensure that all statutory, legal and regulatory changes are communicated and applied timely without delay.

Qualifications, experience and skills:
- Masters or a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Business Management or related field.
- +7 years’ relevant experience in a similar senior role in an organisation with similar scale and complexity, with background knowledge on laws pertaining to compensation and benefits.
- Understanding of payroll software packages – VIP Premier & ERP Application.
