Summary:

The U.S. Mission in Gaborone is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the CLO Administrative Clerk (Newsletter Editor).

Duties

Incumbent is responsible for producing the mission’s newsletter providing information about the community, the host country, and activities of interest to all members of the mission community. This position also assists with putting together flyers and assisting with CLO activities as they arise. They also assist with management of social media. The position reports directly to the Community Liaison Officer (CLO) Coordinator, and in their absence the Management Officer (MO) and has no supervisory duties.

 

Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:

All selected candidates must be able to obtain and hold a:

All selected candidates will be subject to a background investigation and may be subject to a pre-employment medical exam.
Selected candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time, upon receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

Education Requirements:

Completion of Secondary school is required.
