KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops actionable strategies and plans that ensure alignment with the Group’s short-term and long-term objectives.
- Plans, directs, coordinates, and oversees the People Department’s activities in the Group, ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs.
- Translates strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning.
- Monitors employee productivity, building a high-performance customer centric culture and ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met.
- Evaluates employee performance data by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics geared towards crafting plans to improve relevant key performance indicators.
- Oversees daily operations of the People Department.
- Advises the Group and the Board of Directors on staff reward and recognition issues.
- Ensures compliance with the Employment Act and other legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, advising management on needed action.
- Undertakes other duties as directed by the Group’s Board of Directors and/or the Group’s Executive Management in support of the Group’s strategy.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development, Organizational Development, Industrial Relations, Industrial Psychology, or any other related field.
- Minimum 10 years’ post qualifications experience with at least 5 years’ experience in a senior management position.
