Admin Officer at SANDFIRE RESOURCES

The Admin Officer is responsible for daily administrative support and duties to Plant Management, organisation and coordination of all office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies to ensure overall efficiency.

Key Performance Areas

• Serve as a liaison between all process plant functions to enhance efficiency of process plant support.
• Support process plant functions with logging Safety KPIs.
• Coordinate all plant employees time and attendance- time sheets, rosters and leave management.
• Update HR with manhours, time sheets and leave records monthly.
• Coordinate office supplies and equipment procurement and maintenance.
• Maintain up-to-date training database and records.
• Support Plant Training section with travel arrangements, accommodation bookings (internal and external) and itineraries for employees.
• Assist in planning departmental monthly events.
• Support Plant Training section in updating and reproduction of training materials.
• Support internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department.

Technical Competencies

• Proficient in Microsoft office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Administrative and clerical skills, including report writing, record keeping, planning, and scheduling.
• Knowledge of multi-media equipment and digital devices.
• Spreadsheet preparation and presentation development skills.
• Copper production exposure will be an added advantage.

Qualification & Experience

• Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Management or related field
• Valid Class B Driver’s licence
• At least 4 years of experience in an Administration or related position, preferably in the mining industry
