Nkaikela Youth Group (NYG) seeks to recruit and appoint enthusiastic, highly driven, committed and qualified individuals for the following vacancies.

1.SENIOR PROJECT OFFICER (1)

Location: Tlokweng Head Office

Job description
Manage and oversee implementation of the Global Fund Project.
Manage district project teams, ensuring compliance with governance and performance requirements, to successfully deliver all key projects milestones and deliverables.
Undertake research and formulate recommendations to support evidence based project planning and decision making.
Undertake regular visits to district teams to provide support, guidance and remedial actions to ensure targets are met.
Support data verification and data quality assurance activities.
Monitor and evaluate the project implementation, including risk management, project impact and quality measures.
Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on project implementation progress to the donor and project team
Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and to ensure project deliverables are met
Contribute to advocacy and communication efforts through one on one meetings and social media.

QUALIFICATIONS: Degree in Social Science or any related qualification (Social Work, Health Promotion, Public Health, and Community Development)

2.IT OFFICER (1)

This is an entry-level position

Location: Head Office (Tlokweng)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing the office IT infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, databases, and malware protection software and other processes;
Creating and verifying data backups and disaster recovery procedures;
Creation, set up and maintenance of the office server system
Monitoring the office IT system daily and responding immediately to security or usability concerns;
Upgrading systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution;
Installing and testing computer-related equipment.
General maintenance of IT related equipment including PCS’s, laptops and printers
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to enhance NYG operations

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field
2-3 years experience in IT office work


3.FINANCE OFFICER (1)

Location: Tlokweng Head Office

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Plans, directs, and controls accounting and financial operations.
Prepares reports and documents covering accounting transactions for management review.
Ensures that accurate records are kept by standard practices.
Establishes budgets, forecasts future cash flows, provides periodic financial analysis.
Preparing cheques for utility, tax, payroll, and other company bills
Using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems to keep, maintain and balance financial records.
Writing daily reports, preparing general ledgers, trial balance, and other financial statements.
Preparing and submitting pension forms, tax returns, and employees’ compensation forms.
Preparing other accounting, statistical, and financial reports.
Reconciling financial accounts.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor of Finance, accountancy or any other related field
At least 2 years work experience in the field, with NGO experience a requirement.
Prior experience working in an NGO environment and or working with key and vulnerable populations, female sex workers, people living with HIV and a comprehensive understanding of the Botswana Public Health system will be an added advantage.
